Take The Plunge

I’ve always wanted to become a writer, and four years ago, I decided that it was time to write a blog! I knew absolutely nothing about blogging, but I’ve always dreamed of writing, using words to encourage women and young girls. I wanted to write and the only experience I had with blogging was reading the blogs of other writers!

My life has totally been life’ing since then! My family has expanded to include a two year old energetic toddler, but yet I’ve decided that there is no perfect time like the present to take the plunge! This journey required me to step outside of myself, and cast pride aside! It required honesty, courage and realizing that I needed a Destiny Helper to help bring the dream to life! There is a difference between knowing what you want to do and actually doing it! In order to take the plunge, I had to employ the services of a Life Coach, I understood that the dream and vision was so much bigger than me.

Honesty, transparency, doubt, procrastination, courage and time management were some of the things I struggled with, yet I still decided that I wanted to take the plunge. It wasn’t easy, but who said that accomplishing our dreams would be easy? It’s easy to dream, but it takes action to bring the dream to reality. Yet, with God nothing is impossible! Taking the plunge means surrounding yourself with those who believe in the dream just as much as you! It means leaning into their strength, courage, advice and honest opinions!

I encourage you to take the plunge into your destiny, plunge into your dreams. You may feel unqualified, inadequate, unworthy, but there is a Creator, God, who used words to create something out of nothing. For you it may be a new business venture, or an idea that can change the trajectory of history. It may be a new invention, a cure for a disease, going back to school, but how will you know if you don’t take the plunge!

Take the plunge because someone is waiting for you to take the next big step! Don’t worry about what you lack, shake fear, and focus on what you do have, a dream, vision, an idea, a plan that is so much more than you could ever imagine.

Inhale…exhale, hold your breath and plunge into your destiny.

This blessed me so much this morning! It’s so hard sometimes to take the plunge into the unknown! I’m a person who wants to calculate every step so I can be comfortable!
You are so right when you said it’s easy to dream but it takes action to make it a reality!
Thank you so much for this! I pray that I take the plunge! ❤️

  5. Being a writer myself, I understand what it’s like to sometimes lack confidence in what we produce. We are all Kingdom daughters, yet we sometimes forget that being a Kingdom daughter means we have a King; the one true King, who shines brighter than anything that has ever existed. So, continue to shine brightly in God’s blessings and the purpose He has set upon your life! Congratulations on embarking on this new journey. I know you’re going to do well!

  6. Such a powerful and encouraging word Nads. It’s amazing how the breakthrough of others can be tied up right inside of us. Thank you for taking the PLUNGE and being used as a vessel to release what God has placed inside of YOU! xoxo Eva
