“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, The Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in affliction, with the comfort which we ourselves are comforted by God.” -1 Corinthians 1:3-4 (ESV)
While it’s been said that “hurt people, hurt people,” I choose to believe that “healed people, heal people.” In John 4:1-30 The Woman at the Well or the Samaritan Woman met Jesus the Living Water, and being the woman with five husbands and one not her own husband was no longer her testimony. She went through her town telling everyone she met, about Jesus. After just one encounter with Jesus, she received healing for her soul. The void in her heart that was being filled with men and unhealthy relationships was now filled with Jesus. Healed people, heal people because they have experienced the grace and mercy of God. They meet other persons and extend love and compassion because they have experienced just that from Jesus. When we’ve been touched by Jesus, we want everyone else to be touched by Jesus. To experience the love of Jesus is something that can’t just be explained, but shared.
Healed people choose to live a life of freedom, they are liberated by the fact that their testimony of being an overcomer is because of the Him that has overcome. I have experienced the hurt and rejection of close family and friends. I know how it feels to be judged, gossiped about and ridiculed. I know what it is to be persecuted, yet not abandoned. I’m never alone, because the Savior who has healed me from the opinions of others is still with me.
Often, you will find that most people who knew you Before Christ will always look at you through those B.C. lenses. They aren’t to blame, because they are usually the ones that haven’t allowed themselves to be fully healed. They prefer to hold on to hurt and offense, which is a false narrative of who God created them to be. The healing that’s available to them they refuse, because their hurt has become like a barrier that is erected around their soul. They are quick to accuse you or to believe the worst about you but your response to them should always be one of grace, love, and mercy, the same that was extended to you when you were hurt and in bondage.
Healed people, heal others, their walk and testimony is one of gratitude. Their hearts overflow with thanksgiving and they celebrate the beautiful work of God in the lives of others. Healed people have an earnest desire to see everyone else experience the liberation of a healed soul. Healed people, heal people, and don’t choose to focus on the hurt, but rather use it as a springboard to bring hope and healing to others. I wish nothing more than for you to experience the healing I’ve received.
For those who are hurt and have been holding on to this pain for years, Jesus is available to heal you. I want you to experience healing from hurt in marriage, family and friends. Be healed from hurt from your brothers and sisters in the faith. My prayer for you is that you would meet the Man at the Well like I did. His Name is Jesus, and He’s able to heal you from everything that is keeping you bound. I want you to earnestly walk in freedom. On the other side of your hurt is ministry, like you have never experienced. Liberate yourself and walk in freedom. Forgive. Release offense. A new season awaits you. Healing is available to you. I love you, yet Jesus loves you so much more.

Thank God for Gods healing power, its so true and when your heal, you have a peace the nobody cant understand and some these just wont affect you anymore.
