“He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: My God; in Him will I trust.” Psalm 91:1-2
The Secret Place is my favorite place to be. There are times I wish I didn’t have to leave. It’s in the Secret place that I’m most vulnerable. I love to sit at the feet of my Lord and sway in His Presence, weep in His Presence, or sometimes sing in His Presence. I love telling Him exactly how I feel, how gracious He is, how kind and loving He is. I love being with Him, and I know He loves being with me. He sometimes wakes me up and my spirit is singing love songs to Him, and I can’t wait to get up and sing those love songs to Him out loud. It’s a space where I can forget about everyone and everything else. Time doesn’t matter in The Secret Place, where I tell Him all my secrets as if He doesn’t already know them! I love talking to Him! There are moments of worship that seem to transcend time, and the worries of life wash away because of how irrelevant they are in His Presence.
The amazing thing about the Secret Place is that He waits for us to come. He wants us to dwell there with Him. I always feel like He is just waiting for me. I feel His smile, His love, and His comfort. In the Secret Place is exactly what you need when you need it. In His Presence, in the Secret Place, The Lord reveals who He is, who we are, and also at times He reveals who others are. Our hearts are laid bare, open, and honest. There is the highest level of transparency in the Secret Place. There is also a high level of confidentiality. The more time we spend with Him, the more He entrusts the secrets of the Kingdom to us. I don’t believe that we can spend time with the Lord in the Secret Place and continue to remain the same. Our hearts are changed in His Presence as we spend more time with Him. There is a desire to please Him more, to walk like Him, love like Him, and talk like Him, because we are constantly being with Him and are made even more aware of Him.
When the Lord reveals who He is, we love Him more. When He reveals who we are, there is repentance and the desire to love and please Him more, when the hearts of others are revealed, it’s to make intercession for them, not to judge them. It’s to pray for them to get back into right standing with God. In the Secret Place, mercy is abundantly available, not just to us, but also to others. Grace is available and we extend it to others. The Lord gives us everything we need to get through our day in the Secret Place. There is more love, power, compassion, and peace. As we freely receive from Him, we freely give to others. There is forgiveness in abundance and we also ought to forgive others. Most importantly, in the Secret Place, there is the liberty to be you, to be who He has called you to be.
Daughters of Fire, I encourage you to seek His Beautiful Wonderful face in the Secret Place. Make space for Him in the Secret Place. Draw near to Him, lean on Him, tell Him you love Him, and allow Him to love on you. Jesus is always available, so make yourself available to Him. He is the Best Friend you are seeking, and can ever have. His kindness is unlike anything else. I can’t imagine my life without Him. Daughters of Fire, let Him transform your heart in the Secret Place. Be open and honest with Him. I want you to become dwellers of the Secret Place. Jesus is waiting for you, extending His grace and mercy towards you. He died for you to have this intimate relationship with Him in the Secret Place. Take His hand, and walk with Him into the Secret Place, because His love for you is everlasting and unconditional.

It’s so true when you take the time out in the secret place you’re so refreshed.
