“It is of the LORD’S mercies that we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. they are new every morning: Great is thy faithfulness.” Lamentations 3:22-23 (KJV)
My heart is so filled with the love of the Lord this morning as I think about His faithfulness. The topic that I thought I was going to write about, He just shifted it, and as I sat down in prayer, I felt the need to encourage. I want someone to be reminded of the mercies of God, how merciful He is towards us, that we don’t receive what we deserve. I want to remind you today of how compassionate the Lord is towards us. Today we are compassionate and tomorrow we are not, but the compassions of the Lord never fail, every morning, we wake up, we receive new compassion and what a blessing that is!
The Lord Jesus is seated on the right hand side of the Father, and He is constantly making intercession for us, always praying for us, always has us on His mind. Can you imagine, in a world of billions of people, yet God is thinking of you every moment of every day? He is never too busy to listen to your prayers or to tell you that He loves you, letting you know that you are the apple of His eye. He is so in love with you! I know that my husband loves me, not just because he says it, but because of his actions. God loves me even more than that! How amazing is that!?
The Lord has not forgotten about you, He has not forgotten His covenant that He made with you. He still loves you. He is still thinking about you. Don’t become weary, don’t allow anger and hurt to cause you to doubt His love for you. Don’t allow life and the circumstances of family, friendships and ministry to cause you to become angry and bitter. The Lord still cares about you even though you may feel like no one does. Don’t allow the voice of the enemy to overpower the voice of God, the voice of grace, the voice of mercy and the voice of how great His faithfulness is towards you. He is madly in love with you!
Sometimes, it’s easier to believe the lies of the enemy than the voice of truth because the lies make us feel vindicated for holding onto our feelings, which doesn’t please the Lord. Daughters of Fire, I want to encourage you to free yourself in Him. Free yourself and forgive yourself; forgive those who hurt you. Remember that what angers you controls you. Release the hurt. Release the pain. Release the anger. Release the resentment. The Lord loves you and He wants you to be free to receive the mercies you don’t deserve. Be free to receive the compassion, love, grace, and redemption of the Lord Jesus Christ. Be free to walk with Him clothed in humility and gentleness. Be free and love like Jesus.
Daughters of Fire, I will never understand why He loves me so much. Why He cares for me the way that He does. When I speak to Him, He listens and He responds with such gentleness. He tells me He loves me, reminds me that I’m the apple of His eyes. He tells me I’m beautiful, fearfully and wonderfully made! He tells me He is pleased with me, and I wonder why because I fall short all the time. I don’t feel worthy of such love, such compassion and favor. Yet, I freely receive it from Him because I love Him so much. I know His love is unconditional. He gives me more than I can ask, think or imagine. He answers the groanings of my heart and my breath prayers. He meets my every need. I don’t want to think about where I would be without Him, and if He doesn’t do anything else for me that’s okay because He is enough. He is everything to me! I can’t live without Him!
Lord I love You! I bless You! I praise you. You deserve all the glory from my life. I am nothing without You! You are more than enough for me! Great is Your faithfulness God to me! You are Wonderful and perfect and mine, and I am yours! Thank You for Your many blessings. I love You Lord. Touch hearts today, Jesus. Touch broken hearts today, Jesus. Touch hurting hearts today, Jesus. Remind Your Daughters that You love them Jesus. Please touch them Jesus. Touch them Jesus, because You care, and You are kind. Thank You for touching the hearts of your daughters today. Cover them and cloth them with compassion, in Your Name I ask these things, Amen! Thank You Lord. Thank You!!
