“For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us.” – Romans 8:18 (ESV)
“As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good, to bring it about that many people should be kept alive, as they are today.” – Genesis 50:20 (ESV)
I was speaking with a dear friend as we reflected on the goodness of God. As we shared, I told her that the word the Lord has placed on my heart for this season of my life is intentional.
It may sound simple, but the more I sit with the Lord, the more clearly I see His heart. And as I see His heart, I see His hand. I have fallen more deeply in love with Him because, in His intentionality, He noticed my hesitation, yet honored my small steps of faith, and met me in the places where I was searching for Him. He was intentional in showing me that I was seen. Loved. Cared for.
Through His intentional love, the Lord gently brought me back to a place I did not even realize I had wandered from. His care has marked my heart in a way I cannot forget, and He is healing places in me I did not know were broken. The God who keeps every promise is intentional, faithful, and worthy of our trust.
God is intentional. He is detailed, specific, patient, and tender in the way He leads us. When He wants His children to understand, He knows how to make His voice clear. He will repeat, confirm, and gently bring a thing before us again and again until it settles deeply in our hearts.
His nature leaves me in awe. He speaks in so many ways, yet there are times when we overlook His voice because we think, “That is just my mind.” But often, it is the Lord drawing near. It is the sweet whisper of the Holy Spirit, reminding us that even the quietest breath prayers have reached heaven.
It is the beauty of Jesus, seated at the right hand of the Father, making intercession for us as we pray. I am humbled by the way the triune God works in my life. I come before my heavenly Father and pour out what is on my heart. Then I open His Word, and He confirms what He has spoken. As I read, I encounter the Living God, the Word Himself, Jesus the Christ, coming alive before me. Then, as I continue walking with Him, the Holy Spirit allows me to see and experience further tangible evidence of God’s faithfulness. My steps are ordered by the Lord, and my heart cannot help but testify: God is intentional.
Daughters of Fire, God’s beloved daughters, the same God who was intentional about the number of days it would take to create the world is the same God who was intentional when He formed you. He was intentional about the measurements of the ark and the details of the temple; that same God is specific, mindful, and intentional about every detail of your life. You were not born into your family by accident. You are not standing where you are by mistake. If you are trusting, praying, and walking faithfully with the Lord, rest in this truth: nothing in your life will be wasted. The good, the painful, and even the parts of your story you do not understand can be placed in His hands. He will use them for your good and for His glory. The God who allowed Joseph to be sold, imprisoned, and later positioned to save His people is the same intentional God you heard about who wants to work in your life in ways you have never imagined.
No matter what your past looks like, where you come from, or how much you feel your life has been delayed or wasted, the intentional God I have come to know is patiently waiting to reveal how deeply and unconditionally He loves you.
I am a living testimony of God’s intentionality. By His grace, I am blessed, covered, favored, and held by Him.
Daughters of Fire, this is my prayer for you: may your eyes be opened to notice the specific and intentional nature of the Lord as you walk with Him daily. Be intentional with Him as He is with you. The One who died to save you from your sins is also the One who desires to show you how He loves you personally and intentionally.
I love you, and I am praying for you. But may you always remember this: God loves you even more. He sees you, knows you, and is intentional about you as His beloved daughter.

Good morning. Thanks for encouraging and sharing your thoughts as lead by holy spirit.
